Chris Dalton

Founder of South Ayrshire Stalking

Our founder Chris lives & breathes deer stalking. He has decades of experience guiding newcomers and veteran hunters & holds the titles of UK Pro Stalker of the year 2019 and 2020.

Graeme Thompson

Head Stalker

A true outdoorsman, Graeme was raised in the Lake District. With a keen eye and a strong work ethic, Graeme makes our guests success his top priority.

Steve Thompson

Co-owner

Raised with his brother Graeme in Cumbria, a keen hunter & fisherman. When he’s not out in the guiding, Steve works on our digital platforms.

Rab Miller

Stalker

The newest member of the team, son of a gamekeeper, Rab has a lifetime of hunting and land management experience.

German Shorthaired Pointer

Zosia has been working with Chris for years and she’s become an invaluable member of the team. Intelligent, tenacious and with a nose that’s second to none.

Labrador

Graeme’s side kick and the youngest of our deer dogs. She’s keen as mustard and works non-stop to help the team and our guests locate and track quarry.
